When it comes to the engine of the Civic, drivers have several options. First, there's a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 158 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission, but drivers can choose a continuously variable transmission instead. There's also a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 180 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. You can also select a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 205 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque.


The 2019 Toyota Corolla

The 2019 Toyota Corolla offers six separate trim levels. The base L offers a CD player, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a USB port, LED headlights, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, lane departure warning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, automatic high beams, a height-adjustable driver seat, and much more.

The LE comes with heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, upgraded upholstery, automatic climate control, 16-inch steel wheels, and keyless entry. The XLE adds keyless entry and ignition, satellite radio, simulated leather upholstery, 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a sunroof, and more. The SE gains sporty elements such as steering-wheel paddle shifters, a rear spoiler, a sport-style gauge cluster, and a unique front-end.

As far as engine options are concerned, the standard engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that generates 132 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes paired to a continuously variable transmission. The LE Eco offers a slightly different engine that produces 140 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque.
