The Honda Accord showcases many of the design elements first introduced in the smaller Civic model, such as the sleek dashboard, which features a touch-screen display and metal accents on the climate control dials, as well as mesh detailing on the vents.

One of the new features of the Accord is the redesigned seats, which provide greater comfort during long drives. The back seat of the Accord is also noteworthy, offering an impressive 40.8 inches of legroom, which is comparable to what you might find in a full-size sedan.

Power and Performance of the 2023 Honda Accord

For the 2023 Accord, Honda consolidated the gas and hybrid versions into one trim structure. The base and EX trims come with a gas engine, while the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring trims are all hybrid.

The previous iteration of the Accord offered two gas-only engines to choose from: a standard turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and an optional 2.0-liter four-cylinder that was exclusive to the Sport and Touring trims. However, Honda discontinued the latter engine option.

Instead, the new Accord has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, while hybrid versions have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder paired with electric motors for a total system output of 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque.
